It was another good morning. We started at the lake and Lil Flier woke early with a poop in her diaper in the tent so I took advantage of the running water bathroom to change her, give her a chance to use the potty and then wash a diaper. Natasha and Toothless eventually went to the bathroom as well and got everything set up while I packed the tent up.
The tent was full of condensation. Another night without wind.
The zipper on the tent was also getting sticky from the dust. Plus the zipper pull was spreading apart so I needed to use our pliers to close them a bit
Toothless was in a good mood in the morning but as the day progressed he was more interested in shoulder rides than hiking.
It was a cool day. We went under an overpass, Toothless did some water crossing and helped a lot with water filtration. Water was less of a concern today.

Right after taking an extended lunch at a creek we walked another half mile and came across some much appreciated trail magic. Several oranges, bananas, pop, grilled cheese, candy and phone charging. My god that was awesome.
Near the end of the day I was getting bagged carrying him. So we traded kids. I got Lil Flier and Natasha carried Toothless. I liked spending time carrying Lil Flier.

Lots of hikers at this spot. Toothless made friends with a young couple who entertained his silly questions. We saw Felix.
We got a good campsite with enough room for our tent.
Had a good sleep.
