We left camp before 8am. I was happy. Everyone was in a good mood and looking forward to arriving at Laguna.
The morning was fairly routine. Hike. Shoulder carry. Lots of stories from Toothless.

We found a nice campsite with water and had lunch. Wet our hats. Met some other hikers.
As we approached Laguna the temperature cooled. Toothless was motivated by the snow. We scooped some snow in our hats and kept going.

We got phone signal so started arranging lodging. We had secured a place at the hostel but got a call saying their website over booked. But if we were PCT hikers they would put us in the apartment with bunk beds for PCt hikers. Toothless was stoked. We got the room. Unpacked and were just about to get dinner when I was called by them and told they had a gas leak and we had to leave. We got a refund.
Natasha had just answered a call back from the cabins and told them we had a place to stay so she called back frantically and managed to get a cabin despite being after the property closed. The owner turned on the lights in the store as well and let us get some stuff from the store when we checked in. He was kind and very helpful.
So we got a cabin for the night and some ice cream and freezes.
We then had dinner.
Went to bed.
Did chores.
Exhausted.
