We got up from our campsite and broke camp pretty quickly. We were heading to Warner Springs and need to get there before the post office closes. We bounced a box ahead with some pull ups and gluten free food. We want to dip into it (in particular because Toothless has been using the same pull ups for way too long. They aren’t wet but aren’t meant to be worn for nearly a week.)
At the start of the day we thought I might need to hike ahead without the kids but we crushed it. It was cruisy. We saw the Eagle Rock which was amazing and enjoyed the smooth trail next to water all morning. Toothless was in a great mood. It was pleasant.

We got to the community resource center at like 1030am. Settled in and did a shop of their food. I went to the post office. Natasha and the kids had a warm shower. We did laundry. I had a warm shower. The kids played inside on the floor and in a cardboard box (it was amazing. Thanks for doing that!). We used flush toilets. We are food and washed our cookwear. It was a cool day.
We reluctantly left at like 2pm and hiked about 5 miles to a campsite. It was near a creek – the last water for 12 miles. It was a nice spot but two other groups ended up there.
We set up camp. Made dinner. And went to bed. Both Toothless and Natasha were in a chatty mood together and it was kind of nice but we ran low on time around bedtime.

Cardboard boxes are the best toys!
