Cake walks aren’t fast. But they aren’t particularly difficult and someone always is goofing off.
Today we walked on Mission Creek all day. The rocks are slow going for 4 year old. But hiking in the creek, the cool temperature and the interesting terrain made for a fun day for Toothless and us. As usual Lil Flier has no complaints. And there was a lot of shade next to the cliffs so we took nice shade breaks. Her sun burn is gone. We did realize the new sunscreen gave her a rash so we have stopped using that and her skin looks great.
The creek is nice. There are different animals and plants. At night we heard many many frogs last night. We see many during the day. Natasha and Toothless saw some different lizards as well.
Toothless loved playing and hiking in the creek. It’s a tiny creek. Difficulty level: 4 years old. Hiking through it kept him cool and happy. It also slowed us down to like 0.5 miles an hour but hey, he had fun.
We got a pretty campsite up the cliff a bit from the creek. We had a tree. And lots of frog sounds.

I love the sounds scape.
