We gave Toothless that name when he was a baby to prevent us from using his real name online. Now that he’s 4 he can choose his own trail name.

He’s been trying on trail names since Campo. But the one that stuck is the first one. Secret.

Mica gave him that name on day 2 when he asked Toothless’ name. And he said “It’s a secret!!”.

Since then he tried on “whistle”, “paleontologist”, “pink Marshmallow” and others. He likes “secret”.  It’s actually short for “Secret Pink Marshmallow”. He liked that one too.

I’ll still probably call him Toothless for consistency here. It’s in my autocorrect. It’s easier. But don’t call him that on trail.
