Today we hiked into town.

A little over 8 miles.

Toothless could have done the entire day by 3 or 4 pm but I carried him the last three miles to get into town earlier. We ended up at the trailhead at HW18 at 2:15 pm.

There was trail magic – Toothless got a sprite. Natasha got a beer.

Just after we crossed the highway to hitch George pulled up from dropping someone off and gave us a ride into town. George was very cool and fun to talk to. We actually met his wife on our zero (tomorrow) at the grocery store. She was right behind us in line!

We checked into our awesome hotel early. I got the kids going in a bath. Natasha went to the grocery store for food for dinner and breakfast.

The room is so nice. We have a kitchen. So we can cook. Frozen pizza, fruit, roast chicken, popcorn and chips for dinner. Lil Flier gets baby food and some of our food. Toothless also gets hot dogs.

Toothless got more TV and we basically ate, hung out, bathed. We did laundry. Then bedtime.

We are sleeping on the sofa bed. My side is tilted and I’m rolling. Can’t get a break even in town!

Toothless gets our fancy bedroom to himself so he can close the door. Natasha and I eat ice cream and snacks after he goes to bed. I grabbed some alcohol across the street when changing over the laundry.
