We continued with being in the trees today. We approached a creek and followed it much of the day. It was nice following water for once!

We reached 600 miles at morning break where we stopped for snack at a campsite.

Overall uneventful but pleasant day. Our packs are feeling better now that we have less food and water in them.

The reassurance markers are on trees now. But they start low, like the height they are on posts in the desert (4 feet) and as we hike north they slowly are hung higher and higher up closer to where you’d expect them on a tree (7-10 feet off the ground).

Once we got to the water Secret played in the swampy part using a long stick pretending to clean the water (the stick was a net). He then carried that stick to camp.

We camped in a large open site by some stagnant water. Secret played there. We chose to use the tent for bug protection. It was pleasant.
