We did the early rise again. Some hikers came in at like 9 or 10pm last night and were using white light headlamps and well, in general, lacked some camp etiquette. I was just falling asleep when they arrived then kept me up for a while longer as they talked and joked, walked around , set up camp. At least they didn’t use a pad pal to inflate their pads. I didn’t get as much sleep as I’d have liked. We broke camp almost as well as yesterday but maybe a little less smooth then got on trail. It’s a big climb and will be hot again so we wanted to do most of the climb before the heat hit us.

It was pretty good. Easy to climb and uneventful. Kids were happy until near the top.

Pretty okay day. We went to a cabin and piped spring for the night. Also a very popular spot. The kids were popular. We found a spot to camp far away from the cabin so we don’t disturb anyone (and to give us privacy). It had boulders for Secret to climb. We set up the tent using boulders to hold the guy lines.
