We woke and, well, it was pretty damn cold. The thermometer said it was -5 C after we got going a bit.
Lil Flier woke early then we all woke. Then she promptly fell asleep after having milk. She didn’t sleep well. She may have been a bit cold.
Party City and I traded jobs. I got what I could packed up in the tent then got our bear cans. She stayed back in the tent and finished there and packed the tent up. Secret slammed back a few Gogurts. He seems to love those.
Hiking was a simple thing today. It was not that hard. The views were stellar.
We had so many water crossings. They were all pretty vanilla. On two, I think Secret could have done them but they were deep on him. Like to his waist. So we carried him.
I tried flipping Lil Flier around to face forward in the carrier again and she loved it. Instead of her trying to turn around and look forward, nearly pulling herself out of the carrier, she just would chill there facing forward clapping and waving sticks around. It’s also easier to show her trees and rocks. She just reaches out and can interact with them.
My favorite part was Bighorn Plateau.

We hiked 11.1 miles today. Camping closer to Tyndall Creek than I’d prefer – might be a bit cold tomorrow. I’m anticipating frozen shoes since they are still wet now from crossing the creek. But I can hike that out tomorrow.
We are aiming to get over Forrester Pass tomorrow. I think Secret has it in him.
