Pacific Crest Trail (PCT)
The PCT is a 2,650 mile long National Scenic Trail in the USA.
People hike the PCT in sections or as a thru hike. A long section hike is often referred to as a LASH (Long Ass Section Hike).
To hike more than 500 continuous miles, a long distance permit is required.
