I mean, that’s it.

Stein Valley Nlaka’pamux Heritage Park has been closed since the start of the COVID19 pandemic.

Natasha and I hiked there in 2018 prior to our GDT thru hike. We have hoped to do the traverse but it didn’t come together in 2019. Then the pandemic hit and we haven’t been able to go back.

Now Lytton was devastated this year from wildfires. I have no idea what is in store for the area now.

The park is beautiful and accessible. Our 2018 hike was a minor gear shakedown for the GDT and it was glimpse into the park. It left me wanting more.

This past year has left me wanting to go back even more. I respect the decision by BC Parks but just wish we could go back.
