It was a nice day hiking along Deep Creek. Other than the marks of dirt bikes scarring the mountains it was very pleasant.

We ended up at the hot springs and didn’t participate. We ate and set up the tent. I made a choice on tent location that I may regret. It’s more sloped but further from the path to the springs.

We had some anxiety about food storage. We have been storing food in our tent with smelly bags. The squirrels here are notorious for chewing into packs for food. I’m hoping for no issues.
