We woke with condensation on our quilt after cowboy camping. No biggie. Just need to dry it out sometime.
Lots of people passing us today. Lots have passed us last night. The bubble in Agua Dulce is coming through.
Despite it only being a day out of town, there were two trail angels that provided some magic.
One provides water, beer, snacks and even some whiskey in a garden shed off the road. Nice cool spot with chairs. There’s a hiker box. It’s amazing. We spent too long there with the other hikers we have started to be friends with in this section. We got to talk a lot to Captain Kirk.
Then another angel came up after we camped and handed out beer, ice cream and popsicles. Straight to us in our tent. They were a bit melted but worth it. The weather started to turn for a worse so I had run ahead with Lil Flier and pitched the tent just past the power lines to avoid the wind and possible rain. Secret and Party City were hiking behind – I was hoping to have it all ready for them when they arrived. Then what a pleasure to get treats!
