This morning we left our spot on top of hill. Right before I left we went for an *ahem* bathroom break and I saw a skink. The bright blue tail took me for a loop (our book doesn’t mention that!) so I couldn’t identify it until much later.

Today we aimed for Green Valley. We wanted BBQ at GVSH (Green Valley Smoke House). Motivation!

We continued to see a plant /vine with large spiky balls. Another thing our book doesn’t mention! More to look up.

Saw a catipllar, and nearly caused a traffic jam looking at it.

Secret ran a bunch of the trail today. He was really cruising.

We made it though. We hitched to the smokehouse – got a ride with a local (sorry, didn’t write your name down in my notes!). It was awesome. Gluten free food. Charging station. Bathrooms. TV. Just a chill environment and good food.

We are and Natasha got our resupply next door. We then got a ride back to the fire station with the owner and camped there for the night with the other hikers.
