Day 28 – Halfway there

GDT kms: 24

Today was all about following an old overgrown road without many views. The highlight of today was probably our lovely lunch spot by Otto Creek which featured a patch of pretty purple flowers that bees were having a heyday pollinating.

We setup camp relatively early today as the next marked campsite was further than we’d like and we weren’t sure we liked the odds of trying to find a site in the mess of a trail that was supposed to follow.

Another high point of today was it dry, so we didn’t experience a lovely carwash, but I think we’ll get to tomorrow as we got a storm shortly after we setup camp 😭
