In 24 hours we leave our comfortable, tiny apartment in East Vancouver and start our two month long trip on the GDT.

I’m now officially on leave from work, Natasha has resigned, we have all of our resupply packages sorted out and we have our housesitter settled into our home.

This is very much going ahead!

We will be flying to Calgary on Wednesday afternoon, then bussing into Pincher Creek overnight. Then making our way to Waterton Lakes as soon as we can get a ride.

Luckily the trail to the monument has opened so we will be able to start the GDT on the border before we make our way north.
